My name is Marleen Molenaar. In the last decade, with Loganistics as company name, I've lead various transformational programs for medium sized as well as corporate businesses. With over more than 20 years of experience in working with- and for companies like, Staples, HEMA, Accenture, you can trust your (transformational) projects to be well managed. My main focus and competency has been to manage the overall process and align stakeholders involved, to ensure objectives are met. Before being a freelancer, I was responsible for the logistics planning and inventory management at HEMA. In the years prior I worked as a project manager and consultant at various companies in multiple industries. Projects such as system implementation- and supply chain projects as well as program management to monitor multiple, complex projects in Retail. My management style is transparent, open and energetic; 'what you see is what you'll get'. The mill as background of this website is not only a funny reference to my name, but mainly a metaphor for the various business processes that must always be aligned, under constantly changing circumstances; after all, the wings of the mill must continue to turn, when wind direction changes, in stormy as well as windless times. This requires adaptability, logical changes in both systems and organization, therefore Loganistics.

The introduction of Tumble 'N Dry challenge the current logistics of the company. Before the introduction of Tumble 'N Dry, products (jeans) were delivered from stock ('never out of stock'). However, seasonal character of the Tumble n Dry collection causes peaks in the supply chain. In close cooperation with the logistics department, management and adjacent departments, we developed and implemented a new working method. The right items are now delivered to the right customers at the right time in the right quantity.
In designing and implementing a new operating model for Staples Europe, multiple transformation projects were defined. The transformation office ensured a coordinated implementation of the top 10 of these projects across 14 European countries; a huge change journey! These projects included the European centralization of the Marketing and Merchandising function, implementation of European standardized ways of working using one European web platform and ERP system.
In optimizing the warehousing and distribution function for its customers, Van Uden built a new distribution center in Waddinxveen and expanded its location in Zoetermeer. In close cooperation with the construction company and the operational departments, we ensured that the warehouses were well prepared and equipped with the right infrastructure (racks, internal transportation, ICT, etc.) to ensure a smooth change-over.
